Contracts Manager | Peterborough | Full Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm | £45,000–£55,000 DOE

Are you the right person for the job?
Minimum 10 years' industry experience and 2 years in a similar role
Background in civil engineering, groundworks, or plant management (experience can substitute for formal qualifications)
Strong practical skills with a willingness to learn
Comfortable with systems, processes, data and efficiency tracking
Excellent IT capability (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
SMSTS (minimum), CSCS Managers Card, First Aid
Full, clean driving licence
What will your role look like?
70% Contracts Management – Oversee project delivery, manage site processes, ensure compliance, drive programme, quality and commercial performance
30% Procurement – Material take-offs, coordinating suppliers, supporting procurement processes
Manage projects typically ranging from £50k to £2.5m
Lead site managers, supervisors, operatives and subcontractors
Produce and update project programmes
Oversee Health & Safety and environmental compliance, including HS&E audits
Produce and update Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans
Manage subcontractors and monitor performance
Produce CVIs, RFIs and maintain variation/delay records
Produce monthly progress reports for clients and Directors
Work to tight deadlines, plan ahead and manage multiple priorities
