Further Information Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic development and evaluation of the school’s SEND policy and provision Ensure SEND priorities are embedded within school improvement planning Oversee the graduated approach, SEND register, provision mapping and intervention programmes Analyse data and monitor outcomes for pupils with SEND and Looked After Children Line manage and develop teaching assistants and other support staff Coordinate external agency involvement and ensure statutory compliance, including EHCP processes Support teachers with identification, planning, differentiation and assessment Promote inclusion, safeguarding and access to the full curriculum and wider opportunities Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead Build strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider community We are looking for someone who brings warmth, commitment and a genuine belief in our children.
