About the Role
As a mechanic, you will be at the core of the workshop operations—assembling, diagnosing faults, servicing, and repairing a wide range of bikes, e-bikes, and scooters. You will also help with retail sales, offering expert advice on parts, accessories, and upgrades. Your role will include:
* Performing repairs and maintenance while adhering to high standards.
* Providing top-tier customer service, explaining technical information clearly and professionally.
* Assisting customers with sales inquiries and recommending appropriate parts and upgrades.
* Keeping the workshop organized and efficient, ensuring all tools and workstations are properly maintained.
* Accurately recording repairs, services, and sales in our POS and workshop management system (Bike-Book).
* Contributing to the growth and innovation of the shop with new ideas and improvements.
About You
* A strong passion for bikes and mechanical expertise in servicing and repairs.
* Cytech Technical Two qualification is mandatory.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, able to explain technical details clearly.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced retail and workshop environment.
* Experience using POS systems and workshop software.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work, including weekends and off-site event support.
* Full UK driver's license is advantageous.
* Physical ability to lift e-bikes and heavy components when needed.
* Availability to work Monday – Saturday, with one weekday off
