We are searching for a new Head of Experience to deliver seamless operations, facilities management and project management in a heavily invested media start-up.
This is a genuine opportunity to make your career landmark, working with global brands and some of the brightest, well known minds in the media. This person will become will be the engine room of a fast-scaling founder-led business.
It is a demanding role with lots of variety - leading the entire business ecosystem, from facilities management, project management, fit-out, team culture, events, operations and executive level support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be the single point of contact for all building management, maintenance and suppliers, leading on health and safety, utilities, fire safety and security systems.
* Build process around onboarding and internal workflows, identify opportunity to streamline efficiencies.
* Own GDPR and compliance across the group.
* Ensure that all production and studio sites run seamlessly and safely.
* Project manage the complex interior refurb, without compromise on operations and contracted obligations. Coordinate all designers, contractors and suppliers.
* Manage deadlines, budgets and all internal communication related to the commercial fit-out.
* Plan and execute internal events.
* Develop a commercial roadmap for hiring out event space to external clients, ensuring licensing, H&S & insurances are in place.
* Build an inclusive, innovative and energetic culture - celebrate big and small wins, coordinate colleagues birthdays, mark milestones for the business growth.
* Develop strong and sustainable working relationships.
* Be an ambassador for the company values and standards.
* Provide high-level support for the CEO and COO, preempting challenges, coordinating space and logistics.
To Be Successful:
* Demonstrable experience across the key focus areas - facilities/building management, GDPR and compliance, general office management, project management, refurbishment/renovation project management, executive level support and culture building.
* Emotionally intelligent, proactive and willing to go the extra mile.
* Strong diplomatic communicator - able to build positive relationships, manage external suppliers and chase accountability.
* Natural problem solver.
* Track record of building an inclusive, innovative and positive culture.
* Previous experience in a start-up highly advantageous, with a willingness to build and get creative.
* Practical and pragmatic.
* Financially literate.
* Able to prioritise and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
* Keen eye for detail and design.
