Sales Manager
Salary Circa 50-55k + comms
Sport hospitality, events & entertainment (Matchday sales + non-matchday)
I'm working with a leading sporting organisation who are currently recrutiing for a Sales Manager to lead their commercial sales department.
This role will be crucial in driving the success of the team whilst also managing your own sales pipeline.
Responsibilities
* Lead the sales team and manage day to day operations for the outbound and inbound sales team.
* Building relationships with clients, garnering further business through consultative selling
* Drive new business sales through outbound telephone sales, client meetings, trade shows, networking events
* Map out local business in the North West Region, looking at new ways to grow corporate client base
* Implement a sales strategy and work closely with senior members of the business to drive success of the sales team
* Developing and maintaining sales processes and procedures, including lead management, forecasting, and sales tracking
* Lead on 1 to 1 sales development of junior sales people, be at the forefront of driving a strong team work ethic
Qualifications
* 5 years sales experience
* Background working in the commercial sport world or a B2B sales environment such as technology, finance, recruitment
* Huge passion for live sport & entertainment
* Excellent telephone and face to face sales negotiation skills
* Management of a small team
* Excellent communicator and ability to grow relations
