Here’s a summary of the role We’re looking for a detail-oriented Survey Operations Analyst to join YouGov’s Scientific Research Group (SRG), the team behind cutting-edge public affairs, academic, technology, and health research. In this role, you’ll help bring complex surveys to life across multiple global markets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support research that shapes policy, media conversations, and decision-making around the world. Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do Program complex surveys using YouGov’s in-house scripting language (built on Python) Set up surveys across multiple markets and languages Test user experience across browsers, devices, and platforms Monitor survey performance, investigate issues, and resolve data collection problems Clean and prepare data deliverables for researchers and clients What you need to get an interview Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience 1 year of hands-on programming experience in Python and/or R Experience working with large datasets using tools like R, Python, SPSS, etc. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication skills (written verbal) Comfort working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams Desired qualifications (bonus points!)
