Role Summary
We are seeking a Head of Marketing to lead our UK marketing function across B2B, B2C, and recruitment. This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will be responsible for driving lead generation, brand development, and recruitment marketing, particularly focused on attracting qualified BSL interpreters to join our team.
You will own the end-to-end go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new services and campaigns, manage a small in-house team, and oversee external agencies when needed, bringing the insight and confidence to challenge and guide them effectively. Candidates with a background in consulting or agency leadership may be particularly well-suited. You will work closely with the Head of Product on launches and positioning, as well as with departmental heads, collaborating daily with key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and brand consistency.
A deep understanding of Deaf culture is essential, and fluency in British Sign Language (BSL) is highly desirable.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
* Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that support growth across B2B, B2C, and recruitment.
* Own end-to-end GTM planning and execution for new products and services.
* Drive lead generation through performance marketing, CRM, and targeted outreach.
* Design and deliver campaigns to attract qualified BSL interpreters and other key roles.
* Collaborate with HR and Operations to align messaging and targeting with recruitment needs.
* Lead multi-channel campaigns including digital advertising, email, social media, events, and PR.
* Analyse performance metrics and optimise campaigns based on data-driven insights.
* Partner with the Head of Relationships to engage Deaf community leaders and advocacy organisations.
* Ensure inclusive and accessible messaging across all marketing materials.
* Champion BSL-first content and parity across signed and spoken communications.
* Lead and mentor a small UK-based marketing team.
* Oversee external agencies when needed, ensuring high standards and strategic coherence.
* Bring the insight and confidence to challenge and guide agency partners effectively.
* Ensure all brand touchpoints reflect our values of accessibility, inclusion, and innovation.
* Lead the creation of compelling content across video, written, and visual formats.
Essential Qualifications And Experience
* 5 + years of marketing or other related experience, with proven success in B2B, B2C, and lead generation.
* Experience in recruitment marketing or talent attraction campaigns.
* Strong understanding of Deaf culture.
* Demonstrated ability to lead GTM strategy and execution.
* Excellent leadership, project management, and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage and challenge external agencies effectively.
* Passion for accessibility, inclusion, and community impact.
Desirable
* Fluency in British Sign Language (BSL).
* Lived experience as a Deaf person.
* Background in consulting or agency leadership.
* Experience in public sector partnerships or communications.
* Familiarity with Salesforce, marketing automation tools, Jira, and digital analytics platforms.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
* Ability to travel.
* Office environment work such as extended sitting at a desk while operating a computer system, phone, or other office equipment.
* Some light to moderate lifting may be required.
