We are looking for a Content Specialist to join our team.
Role Summary
The main purpose of the role is to work as a subject matter expert as part of the Kaplan Publishing Content team with expertise in Audit and/or Law subjects. As an expert, you will help shape our resources and materials in both printed and digital formats.
You will also be expected to teach as part of the role, as we believe there are many benefits from both writing for, and teaching, papers.
Teaching is considered a vital part of the role, albeit a smaller portion of the workload, to ensure that you have visibility of how these resources work in a classroom/live online environment.
You will work closely with other members of the the Financial Reporting, Audit and Law (FRAL) team to provide and receive help and support from colleagues.

What You'll Bring To The Role
The successful candidate is expected to be a professionally qualified accountant with relevant teaching experience. Experience of content writing is desirable but not essential.
This role would thus suit an experienced tutor who teaches audit at levels four to seven and has the ability and willingness to develop his or her knowledge extensively.

Creating, updating and technically checking materials in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint
Preparing production comments in Google Sheets
Using Rogo to create or update objective test questions and working with case study and long form question styles
Scripting, recording and editing VOPP and question debriefs in Camtasia
Writing and updating storyboards in accordance with IDD house style, including writing scripts and PowerPoints for P2C videos
