A friendly and high‑achieving primary school in Burscough is seeking a dedicated KS2 Class Teacher for a Lower Key Stage 2 class. This summer‑term role is ideal for an experienced teacher who can quickly integrate into a team and deliver outstanding learning experiences.
You will take full responsibility for planning, teaching and assessing pupils, working closely with colleagues to maintain consistency across the year group and contribute positively to school life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering high‑quality KS2 lessons
* Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
* Managing behaviour effectively to create a structured learning environment
* Tracking progress and adapting teaching accordingly
* Working collaboratively within the KS2 team
About You:
* Significant experience teaching within KS2
* Confident working in Lower KS2
* Strong behaviour management and curriculum knowledge
* Professional, organised and committed to pupil progress
* Not suitable for ECT candidates
