Principal Embedded Software Validation Engineer
We are currently seeking a Principal Embedded Software Validation Engineer for our client, a leader in producing advanced integrated electric motor and power electronics modules for sectors such as automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery, robotics, and green technology. The successful candidate will oversee validation efforts for embedded software in high-performance traction and propulsion inverters.
The Principal Embedded Software Validation Engineer will:
1. Design and execute test plans for validating embedded software in traction and propulsion inverters.
2. Utilize SIL, MIL, and HIL simulation platforms, especially dSPACE, for comprehensive software validation.
3. Develop and validate embedded software using MATLAB/Simulink control models.
4. Employ Vector tools (CANape, CANoe) for diagnostics, fault analysis, and communication testing in real-time.
5. Define and implement fault detection strategies and diagnostics validation for inverter control systems.
The Principal Embedded Software Validation Engineer should have:
1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
2. At least 6 years of experience in embedded software validation, especially in electric drive systems or automotive applications.
3. Expertise with SIL, MIL, and HIL platforms, with a strong preference for dSPACE experience.
4. Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and real-time embedded control systems.
5. Extensive experience with Vector tools (CANape, CANoe) for diagnostics and validation.
