The Role
We're looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our social media presence and help scale our brand, reach, and engagement.
You'll be responsible for planning, creating, posting, and analysing content across platforms — particularly TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube — working closely with the director and team to turn everyday mortgage scenarios into high-performing content.
This role suits someone who understands algorithms, trends, storytelling, and growth, and isn't afraid to be creative, proactive, and confident.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow GoMortgage's social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)
* Plan and execute a consistent content calendar
* Film, edit, and publish short-form and long-form video content
* Spot trends early and adapt them to the mortgage industry
* Write engaging captions, hooks, and calls-to-action
* Analyse performance, insights, and engagement metrics
* Repurpose content across platforms for maximum reach
* Maintain brand tone: approachable, honest, confident, and educational
* Work closely with the director to turn real client scenarios into content
* Support wider marketing campaigns and launches
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience managing social media for a brand or business
* Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form video
* Confident filming and editing content (CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.)
* Knowledge of social media algorithms and growth strategies
* Creative mindset with attention to detail
* Excellent written communication skills
* Organised, proactive, and self-motivated
Experience in financial services or property is a bonus, but not essential — we value creativity and mindset over industry background.
