* Salary: Grade G - SCP 24 - £24,024 - £36,648


Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced School Facilities and Estates Manager to join our school as soon as possible. We welcome informal conversations or visits prior to application. Please contact Rachael Boaler at (phone number removed).


Responsibilities

* Focus on school maintenance, supervision, legal safety compliance checks, and DIY activities.
* Assist in the smooth running of the school under the guidance of the Headteacher/School Business Manager.
* Maintain the site, security, supervise equipment, and perform other site duties.


Requirements

* Experience in general repairs, small builds, plant, and equipment maintenance.
* Knowledge of site security.
* Conduct routine inspections, tests, and legal checks.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work within specific contract periods.
* Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and COSHH regulations.
* Ability to establish professional relationships at all levels.


About the School

Located in Kirkham, Fylde, the school serves students aged 11-16 with approximately 180 students per year group. It draws from over 25 primary schools and has a diverse student body, including many army families due to nearby barracks.
