The Team
Focused on transactions of GBP 1-50m for income producing real estate, commercial owner occupiers and property developers – this can include but is not limited to commercial, semi commercial and residential investment loans, ground up developments, conversions and refurbishments and loans to operating businesses such as PBSA, BTR, Care homes and Hotels.
The Role
To lead a high performing team of originators and support staff whilst driving quality deals in the areas listed above. You’ll be a key player and member of the bank’s REF senior leadership team. You’ll shape and execute strategies that fuel business growth while balancing origination, portfolio management, and risk. You’ll inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer service, drive new business, and manage risk effectively.
You’ll need to be
An experienced (in the UK) commercial banking leader with a real estate finance specialism. You’ll have a demonstrable ability to lead, motivate, and engage lending sales teams to achieve high performance and enthusiasm for the bank’s products. You’ll have excellent relationship-building skills with experience managing cross-divisional and cross-bank stakeholder partnerships. You’ll have in-depth experience in the REF sector, including presenting credit applications to senior management and understanding banking credit, legal, valuation, and loan drawdown processes.
