Position: Care Team Leader Location: Marsh Farm Manor, Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon Hours: 42 per week Are you passionate about delivering person-centred care and ready to lead a team that truly makes a difference? As a Care Team Leader, you'll be central to maintaining our high standards of care, leading by example, and supporting a team that shares your values. About the Role: In this key leadership role, you'll support the Deputy Manager by taking charge of the shift, ensuring each resident receives care tailored to their individual needs. You'll oversee medication administration, guide care planning, supervise colleagues, and play a hands-on role in daily care—ensuring our home remains safe, nurturing, and compliant with CQC standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate the care team during your shift, ensuring tasks are prioritised and responsibilities clearly delegated Develop and regularly review person-centred care plans Administer and manage medication safely and accurately Monitor daily rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times Supervise, coach, and support care staff, including participation in inductions and performance reviews Liaise with families and external professionals to meet residents’ changing care needs Uphold high standards of health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding protocols Promote resident dignity, nutrition, and meaningful daily activities What We’re Looking For: Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent (or working towards it) Experience in a care setting and understanding of older people's needs Previous supervisory or leadership experience is desirable Knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and the Mental Capacity Act Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills A team player with a caring, positive attitude Why Choose Marsh Farm Manor?
