Are you a Special Needs Teaching Assistant in Huddersfield?
Do you have a passion for teaching and supporting students with special educational needs?
Do you want a better work life balance with the right flexibility?
Can you see yourself making a change to a student's school experience?
We are looking to fill a number of SEND support roles for September, some part time and some full time roles with children that have additional needs and require the support of a positive, enthusiastic and understanding adult one to one. Does this sound like you? Do have SEND experience? Then we want you at Academics!
As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant with Academics, you will be providing support to teachers and students, helping them reach their full potential. You will be working with children and young people with a range of needs and abilities.
Your responsibilities for being a special needs teaching assistant will include providing one-to-one support, helping with resources, managing behaviour, and helping students to develop their skills. Some children require personal care or medication as well (training will be given). You will also have the opportunity to develop your own skills, such as planning and delivering activities, and supporting individual learning plans.
Academics is committed to providing high quality teaching and learning experiences, and we offer a range of benefits and support to our teaching assistants.
We offer competitive rates of pay, flexible working arrangements, ongoing training, and opportunities for career development as a special education teaching assistant. We want to support and listen to what journey you want in the Educational setting.
So, if you are looking for a teaching assistant role within our Huddersfield Primary schools and want to make a real difference in the classroom, Academics is the place to join.
