We are retained to manage a really exciting search for a strategic and commercially minded Sales Director to lead the holiday home sales department of an independent and privately owned multi-site holiday park operator.
You will be a senior professional within the holiday home market, an individual that is passionate about driving high performance and high standards across both their sales teams and processes, whilst ensuring all owners have exceptional customer experience.
We are looking for an experienced leader that is ready to shape, own and direct the sales strategy. You will be empowered to make decisions and drive change, building on the success of the sales results so far this year, however as important as driving the sales results, is making sure the sales department has effective and robust processes and measurements in place, solid foundations and best practice, along with great sales performance.
The role will require regular travel around the parks
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sales strategies that ensure sales targets are hit
* Inspire your team to believe in the vision and are driven to achieve
* Work with marketing to plan creative campaigns and attend events
* Prepare operational and financial sales department reports using accurate data that are used to support effective decision making
* Implement and drive the right sales KPIs and measurements to manage and drive performance
* Oversee the recruitment, learning, and career development of the sales team
* Manage stock effectively and in line with demand, taking seasonal trends into consideration
Key skills & experience required:
* Previous successful track record as a selling sales manager of holiday homes
* Experience leading successful sales teams
* A consistent target achiever and over performer
* Commercial acumen
* Strong and inspiring leadership skills
* Organised and proficient at systems management
