Overview
A global manufacturer of high-volume electronic components is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join its Discrete Business Group. Based in Greater Manchester, this role blends technical insight with commercial strategy in a fast-paced, international environment.
The Role
You’ll be at the heart of product marketing for a portfolio that includes MOSFETs and Diodes, supporting both customer-facing teams and internal stakeholders across Europe and North America. This is a hands-on role with exposure to pricing strategy, product positioning, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
* Respond to technical enquiries from customers and sales teams across EMEA and North America.
* Define go-to-market strategies and create technical marketing content (press releases, brochures, presentations).
* Conduct regular customer meetings to support design-in activity and gather market intelligence.
* Generate and present new product ideas with clear commercial rationale.
* Provide first-line commercial support to customers, sales, and pricing teams.
* Guide pricing strategy and contribute to portfolio margin optimization.
* Use analytical tools to interpret data and support decision-making.
What You’ll Bring
* Degree in Electronic Engineering, Business, or Marketing.
* Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in product marketing or technical sales within the electronics sector.
* Strong commercial acumen and pricing strategy experience.
* Fluent English (written and spoken).
* Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* High-level spreadsheet and data analysis skills (Excel/Access/Oracle).
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working autonomously.
* Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20–25%).
