Job Description
Reporting to the Outlet Maitre'd, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
* Provide friendly and engaging service to guests
* Assist guests with beverage menu items in an informative and helpful manner
* Mix drinks and maintain beverage stock levels according to guidelines
* Have a thorough knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
* Be familiar with all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods
* Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards
* Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Previous serving or bartending experience in a high volume, fine dining/upscale restaurant or lounge required, 2-3 years minimum.
* Certification in Bartending an asset
* TIPS Certification Required
* Strong classic cocktails knowledge
* Service oriented, team player, flexible in high paced environment and able to handle pressure with grace.
* Must be able to complete all physical aspects of the job without restriction, i.e. Lift 25+ lbs at a time, stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
* Previous point of sale system experience an asset
