Duties will include:
* Work as part of a team to ensure that cleaning standards are maintained across all areas of the property.
* Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping duties including hoovering, dusting, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, changing bedding etc.
* Undertake heavy cleaning as directed by the Scheme Manager.
* Always observe safe working practices and report any hazards.
* Notify the Scheme Manager / Senior Housekeeper of any changes in stock levels.
* Check machinery and equipment and report faults using maintenance request system in place within each dept.
* Report any electrical or maintenance defects identified whilst undertaking duties using maintenance request system in place within each dept.
* Carry out Ironing for the Catering Department.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Previous cleaning experience in a care setting is preferred.
* Good people skills with a caring and compassionate nature.
* A positive, professional, and proactive approach.
* A real team player.
* You will be aligned to the organisations Visons and Values.
