Checkpoint Security Specialist

Responsibilities
* Implement and support Checkpoint firewall solutions across enterprise environments.
* Manage firewall configurations, policies, and troubleshooting for critical systems.
* Work closely with network and infrastructure teams on project delivery and escalation support.
* Contribute to ongoing security improvement initiatives.
* Participate in on-call rotation (paid separately).
* Maintain up-to-date documentation and adhere to change management procedures.
Skills / Must Have
* Strong hands-on experience with Checkpoint firewalls.
* Knowledge of implementation, configuration, and maintenance within enterprise environments.
* CCSA or CCSE certification (preferred but not essential).
* Good understanding of networking fundamentals, routing, and security principles.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Location
£45,000 – £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Based in Knaresborough (hybrid working – days in office TBC)
