Job Title: Regulatory Programme and Business ManagerLocation: Bootle (Hybrid Working – 2-3 days on-site per week)Salary: Up to £54,000 per annumContract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) – Up to 12 MonthsAbout the Role:I am seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regulatory Programme and Business Manager. This pivotal role will support the delivery of key regulatory programmes and business initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with relevant legislation and standards.You will work closely with senior stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and cross-functional teams to manage programme delivery, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement across regulatory operations.Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support Programme, Project and Business Management related activities in those areas assigned to you.
* Coordinate and lead projects as required.
* Generation and update Divisional governance documentation e.g., Strategy, Business Plan, Manual, and formal reports (e.g. CNI Report, Annual Report and Accounts etc.)
* Support the development and definition of scopes of work, budgets, resource requirements and resource forecasts in line with business plans.
* Develop, deploy, and maintain appropriate tools, techniques, and controls (such as for interventions, resource utilisation, budget performance etc), to facilitate delivery performance monitoring.
* Analysis of controls information to support the identification and resolution of issues and the explanation of, for example variances to budgets or forecasts
* Support the application of Divisional risk and issues management processes, undertaking risk reviews and updating Risk Registers in accordance with the company's risk management process and guidance
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Good understanding of programme/project delivery frameworks, tools, and processes
* Ability to lead effective teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence, collaborate and partner with stakeholders at all levels.
* Good all-round ICT knowledge (e.g. MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
* Demonstrable analytical and numerical skills
* Ability to deliver timely performance at pace and with energy, taking responsibility and accountability for quality outcomes.
