Tasks and Qualifications:
Working for a globally recognized customer, the role demands dedication and professionalism that Dematic Customer Services is known for. As a Shift Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
* Maintaining, repairing, and supporting equipment within the scope of the contract on the customer's site.
* Ensuring delivery to Dematic and customer expectations, aiming to meet KPI targets.
* Performing AMHE equipment servicing according to standards and schedules.
* Undertaking scheduled repairs as per manufacturer recommendations and industry practices.
* Diagnosing Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, PLC, and PC faults and executing repairs.
* Prioritizing system faults effectively.
* Complying with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
* Maintaining quality standards.
* Accurately recording all work performed.
* Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintaining product flow and on-site spares levels.
* Representing the company professionally and maintaining customer relations.
* Adhering to company quality processes and procedures.
Qualifications include:
* NVQ Level 3/ONC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
* IOSH Working Safely (desirable).
* Recognized Engineering Apprenticeship.
* Understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic manuals and drawings.
* Basic control systems knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
* Basic PLC knowledge.
* Experience working at height and willingness to do so.
* Experience with conveyor systems.
* Good PC literacy.
* Understanding of PPM schedules.
* Knowledge of FEM and BS standards in automated warehousing.
* Continuous improvement mentality.
