At Tesco, people are at the heart of everything we do, and this couldn’t be truer for our pharmacy team.
As a Pharmacy Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on others’ lives. Whether you’re supporting pharmacists, providing top-notch services to customers, or fostering community spirit, your work will touch the lives of hundreds of people every day.
We want to help you be at your best, whatever life brings. That's why we’ll offer you uninterrupted "me time" away from the pharmacy to relax, refuel, and recharge. Aside from these healthy breaks, you’ll also have plenty of career development opportunities with leadership training plans from industry experts, so there’s every chance to progress. If you have ideas for improvements, we’ll ensure you’re given the chance to be heard.
It all adds up to a role where you can do good, and feel good, while developing your career. Let’s make every day a little better.
Responsibilities:
1. You’ll supply prescriptions, deliver NHS and private services, and provide healthcare advice to customers.
2. You’ll play an active role in our charity support programs, advising people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
3. You’ll lead, train, and develop colleagues.
4. You’ll use a planning system to ensure pharmacy staff are available to meet customer needs.
Minimum Requirements:
* You’ll have a Pharmacy Degree.
* You’ll be passionate about leading and empowering a team.
* You’ll be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme; we’ll assist with this process.
* You’ll complete a DBS check (organized by us) prior to employment.
Note: Pharmacists working for Tesco will need to complete a DBS check before starting employment.
Our Pharmacy Managers are supported by wider store teams, such as security, stock replenishment, range management, and administration, to ensure a smooth customer and patient experience while maintaining safety for colleagues and customers.
Tesco Pharmacies offers colleagues flexible working arrangements and control over work rotas, enabling overlap periods for collaboration on patient care and colleague development.
We recognize that everyone’s life circumstances are different. We welcome discussions about flexible working arrangements to support your needs, whether you are starting your career, caring for loved ones, nearing retirement, or adapting to parenthood.
Everyone’s welcome
Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) at Tesco mean that regardless of your background, you should feel represented and comfortable being yourself at work. In short, we’re a place where Everyone’s Welcome.
