Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students? We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team in Hamilton, OH! This role focuses on serving students in grades K-12 within a hybrid learning environment at a high school alternative/transitional setting.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Special Education Teacher, you will:
* Deliver specialized instruction through both push-in and pull-out services tailored to meet individual student needs.
* Manage a caseload within an alternative or transitional high school setting.
* Implement best practices aligned with the Science of Reading methodology.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* An active full Initial Specialist (IS) teaching license (substitute licenses are not eligible).
* Completion of Science of Reading training.
* Experience providing special education services in K-12 settings, preferably in alternative or transitional environments.
* The ability to deliver instruction effectively in a hybrid learning model.
Schedule and Compensation
We offer a supportive work environment with the following details:
* Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
* Starting pay of $35 per hour for qualified applicants.
* 11-month contract with summers mostly off (July off).
