Offer description

Are you ready to stop optimising someone else's dream?

Imagine walking into work knowing that every decision you make directly impacts revenue. No layers of approval, no endless committees, no "we'll consider it for next quarter." Just you, the data, and the results.

A successful D2C lifestyle brand wants someone exceptional to own their entire digital growth story. The founders have built something special over the past decade, but they know it's time for a dedicated leader to transform their gut-feel approach into a proper growth engine.

This isn't about tweaking conversion rates by 0.2%. You'll be taking complete ownership of how this business thinks about ecommerce, CRM, and customer lifecycle management. Think of it as the founders handing you the keys to their most valuable asset and saying "make it unstoppable."

You'll have full P&L accountability for digital revenue across the UK and European markets. You'll own everything from the moment someone lands on the website through to their fifth purchase. CRO strategy, retention campaigns, product merchandising, cross-selling - it's all yours. You'll work with a small but growing team, including a CRM manager and website manager, with the freedom to build around you as needed.

What we need from you:
About 8 years of ecommerce leadership at DTC/consumer product brands, with genuine revenue accountability. Shopify platform experience is essential, as it's their committed ecosystem. You'll need multi-market experience and ideally some CRM tool background, such as Klaviyo. But more than the technical stuff, we need someone who understands the difference between managing campaigns and truly owning growth.

You'll work directly with passionate founders who each bring different perspectives, one more creative and ideas-driven, the other more technical and data-focused, but share a vision for growth. You'll need strong stakeholder management skills to ensure both feel heard while you build the analytical frameworks that turn their insights into prioritised, impactful strategies. It's that sweet spot where you get genuine ownership without the politics of a corporate environment. You'll see the direct impact of your work in real revenue numbers, real customer satisfaction, and real business growth.

The package reflects how seriously they take this hire, a £90k-£110k salary and flexible working arrangements. You'll report to an experienced CMO who's building a team of senior leaders, not micromanagers.

Ready to own something that matters?

If you're tired of being another ecommerce leader in a sea of corporate bureaucracy, and you want to see what you can really achieve when someone gives you proper ownership, we should talk.
