In line with this we are currently looking for two environmental advisors with experience in either waste or environmental permitting.
Key Responsibilities
The provision of guidance on environmental policies, sustainability strategies, and eco-friendly practices.
Monitoring and improving compliance with environmental legislation and standards.
The assessment of environmental risks and opportunities for improvement.
Reporting of key environmental information and actions to internal and external stakeholders as appropriate
Supporting on the development of environmental permits and licenses in England, Scotland and Wales.
Providing technical guidance on waste acceptance, duty of care and definition of waste assessmentsCollaborating with and training stakeholders to promote awareness and drive improvement & best practice.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
About you
You’re not one to shy away from challenges or be indecisive and you’re motivated by influencing leaders and operational teams to drive environmental performance. The role isn’t an established, mature role; therefore, you have a brand new opportunity to influence change, develop, agree then deliver plans and projects.
Qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in an appropriate environmental discipline
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Full driving licence
