Tendering Sales Engineer - Generators - Yorkshire Based
Kevin Edward Executive Search has partnered with a leading manufacturer of industrial generating sets, ranging from 5 kVA to 3000 kVA – is seeking a Sales Engineer (Tenders) to join their growing team.
About the Role
This is an internal sales position focused on tenders, quotations, and technical support. You’ll play a vital role in helping customers and the external sales team find the right power solution for every project.
Responsibilities
* Preparing detailed technical and commercial quotations for generating sets and related equipment
* Reviewing tender documents and customer specifications
* Liaising with engineering, production, and procurement teams to develop cost-effective solutions
* Providing technical support to the external sales team and clients
* Ensuring all proposals meet company standards for accuracy, compliance, and presentation
Qualifications
* Background in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent industry experience
Required Skills
* Proven experience within power generation, gensets, switchgear, or industrial equipment
* Strong technical understanding combined with commercial awareness
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* Confident working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
