The Salvation Army Mission:

Job Objective:
Process donated goods in the back room of a store or in the warehouse. Follow all procedures set out by The Salvation Army in handling and processing these goods. Provide excellent customer service to shoppers and donors. Maintain a clean and organized work and shopping environment. Handle each transaction accurately.
Essential Functions:
1. Sort, tag, and price merchandise as instructed.
2. Track production numbers and report in the assigned location. Move priced merchandise to the floor for display and stocking or to the designated shipping area in the warehouse.
3. Assist donors with donations. Complete donation receipts, collect donor information, and track donors.
4. Power sort donations into the correct bins. Receive ARC Center trucks and assist in loading, unloading, and moving products to the correct departments.
5. Maintain clean work and storage spaces. Follow all Salvation Army policies regarding merchandise sales. Assist in keeping the floor stocked and put out new merchandise as assigned. Work to meet daily store production goals. Must be available for a flexible schedule.
