Job Description
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Assistant P6 Planner to join our dynamic Eastern and Southern Rail team at Derby. This role is on-site, working 37.5 hours per week.
In this role, you will support the Project Commercial management team in preparing and submitting period, quarterly, and yearly deliverables for both internal and external review. You will work with one of Network Rail's main contractors on Signalling and OLE frameworks across the Eastern region.
What You'll Do:
* Assist with the preparation of a project work breakdown structure and schedule to meet project objectives, and provide effective project performance measurement and reporting.
* Monitor and progress the schedule, making changes as required.
* Monitor GIVE:GET milestones and their impact.
* Assist with producing QSRA/Hour by Hour programmes for works in disruptive possessions, in line with DWWP guidance.
* Assist with producing actual performance data and variance analysis against plans and forecasts.
* Communicate programme criticality and interfaces with the project team.
* Assist with reporting requirements, including the use of Microsoft Power BI.
* Undertake ad hoc duties as directed by the Planner and Project Teams.

What You'll Bring:
* Previous experience in a construction/engineering environment
* Proficient IT skills, including MS Office
* Experience with planning tools like P6 or MS Project
