Key Responsibilities
* Client point of contact and managing the portfolio
* Produce complex management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
* Prepare and present reporting packs to provide clients with valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
* Prepare and review VAT returns across a range of industries, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
* Continuously evaluate and enhance clients' finance systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
* Build strong relationships with clients, getting to know their businesses and providing a high quality service.
What this client is looking for:
* ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
* Previous experience managing a portfolio within an accountancy practice environment.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, management accounts, and VAT.
* Confident working with Xero, other cloud accounting software, and Excel.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with a diverse range of clients.
