Overview
A Project Manager role at Leonardo within the EW Payloads Business Area to provide project management oversight for either a single large or a group of smaller projects around the Brite Storm Product, with high-profile internal and external Stakeholders.
Your Impact
A Project Manager is required to provide project management oversight for either a single large or a group of smaller projects around our Brite Storm Product. This will involve management of projects with a high profile both internally and externally, with multiple interdependencies that need to be tracked and aligned to key project milestones and subsequent manufacturing output/customer delivery schedules. Strong internal and external customer-facing skills will be required. The role covers all aspects of Project Management including development of schedules, risk management, financial management, adherence to company governance and bid management. The Project Manager will be responsible for project execution and delivery of a variety of work packages to ensure the necessary enablers for the product portfolio are in place, with emphasis on cross-project and product alignment, dependency management and decision making for the EW Payloads Business Area and Surveillance & Protection Technologies (S&PT) Sector.
What You\'ll Bring
* Experienced Project Manager displayed throughout career, ideally within defence or another engineering/ technical business
* Leadership on fast paced, high value programmes
* Ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders at a high level
* Project management experience managing engineering development contracts, bids, supply chain and customers
* Willingness/ ability to travel overseas
* APM or relevant Project Management qualification beneficial but not essential
