Estimator – Roofing & Cladding Systems Job Reference Number: 501011-8577-25175 Location: Commutable to Portsmouth Remuneration: £45,000 - £60,000neg bonus tbc Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package The role of the Estimator – Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve: Estimator position dealing with various commercial and industrial roofing and cladding systems such as; rainscreen, standing seam, architectural wall panels, built up metal roofing & cladding, composite roofs & walls Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices Carrying out site surveys as and when required Producing formal quotations to clients Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met Estimating for projects ranging in value from £20k up to circa £2.5m The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Roofing & Cladding Systems with: Must have estimating experience within the commercial or industrial roofing and cladding market sector Must be an outgoing character who will be an integral part of the team High levels of organisation and excellent time management Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Excellent analytical and numerical skills Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
