JOB PURPOSE: To assist in the production of printed cartons in accordance with ISO & PS9000:2016 and the companys best practice quality and safety procedures. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Production To comply with current systems of working including established shift patterns To achieve daily/weekly production targets working as part of a crew on the gluing assembly lines To achieve the highest possible quality standards working within the guidelines outlined in the established quality systems to achieve customer specification Quality check printed sheets using manual and electronic quality aids Comply with quality inspection process Participate as part of a team to maximise machine efficiency Participate in continuous learning and development to update skills and participate in improvement initiatives in production Health and safety To work in a safe manner adhering our health and safety procedures and safe systems of working. To report all accidents and dangerous occurrences Maintenance To assist in the maintenance of all machinery and equipment in line with established planned maintenance programmes To keep work area clean tidy ensuring that the highest standards of housekeeping and hygiene are always maintained. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 3 years experience as a printer preferable with demonstrable knowledge of Komori or Heidelberg printing presses.
