Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary & Benefits: £26,000 - £35,000 + Training & Benefits (company vehicle, overtime opportunities, training)
Job Summary: A national player within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover sites around Yorkshire and the North West of England. Candidates must understand ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines, and will be able to integrate smoothly into a busy and successful team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Showerhead descales
* TMV servicing and failsafe checks
* Flushing on little used outlets
* Tank inspections, cleans and disinfections
* Performing legionella risk assessments on smaller, domestic hot and cold water systems
* Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
* Keeping accurate records of works undertaken
* Producing reports to highlight any found risks and recommendations to rectify
* Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
* Experience conducting Legionella Risk Assessments (preferred)
* City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing (preferable)
* Full familiarity with ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
* Flexible to travel in line with company needs
* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
