Client Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated healthcare assistant to provide support for a female 72-year-old client who requires a tracheostomy ventilator for respiratory support. The medical condition necessitates consistent monitoring and care to maintain airway patency, prevent infections, and ensure the ventilator works properly. The client lives in a warm and welcoming family home with four supportive relatives who actively contribute to her care and emotional well-being. The household also includes two cats and two big dogs.
What HFH offers
* Hourly pay rates range between £14 - 17.93 p/hr.
* Typically, our client base requires ongoing care, 24 hours a day, with the continuity of a small core team of regular care staff.
* Our specialist carers work with one client per shift and do not travel between multiple homes. The average shift is 12 hours.
* Where possible we will offer you work to meet your availability; as a guide, the average carer works three shifts (36 hrs) per week for us and earns £500 - £555 per week.
* The regular working patterns mean this three-day-a-week pattern equates to an average annual income of between £26,200 - £28,950.
* We employ all staff directly and manage pay via PAYE, rather than Limited Company or Self-employed status. This protects you from IR35 issues.
* Please note: This depends on shift pattern (days/nights/weekends) and rates shown are inclusive of holiday pay per hour worked.
