Regional Estate Manager – Boots UK
Based in the Nottingham support office, the Property Estate Team serves as a consultant to the business, working closely with Property, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Retail & Pharmacy Operation teams. The role involves advising on a mature portfolio, securing value through retail and pharmacy operations, location, premium brands, store configuration and operational costs.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement and deliver the property strategy for the region.
* Lead a high‑performing team.
* Own the property business plan for the region.
* Negotiate and deliver optimal commercial terms for property acquisitions, rent reviews and lease renewal transactions.
* Manage external advisors to deliver on time and under budget.
* Oversee all aspects of property management, advising on lease obligations, dilapidations and sublet portfolio.
* Financially appraise and evaluate property transactions, preparing and presenting approval papers.
Required Qualifications
* Degree in Real Estate Management.
* Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with post‑qualification experience.
* Strong leadership skills, motivating a team towards a common goal.
* Commercial awareness, analytical and financially innovative approach to property solutions.
* Effective communicator, building relationships within the business and the external market.
* Self‑motivated and results‑focused, meeting budget requirements with integrity and trust.
