Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN/SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs required in Hampshire. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support. We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN (Special Education Needs)/SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).
We are looking for SEN/SEND tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Hampshire. At Targeted Provision, our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. You will be supported throughout every placement by our team of SEN/SEND Support Specialists.
This role is perfect for qualified SEN/SEND teachers eager to work via 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with various learning needs, in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner, to raise their engagement and improve their educational outlook.

SEN/SEND Tutor tasks and responsibilities:
1. Planning each session of teaching/tutoring/mentoring
2. Providing engaging sessions tailored to individual needs
3. Completing lesson reports and progress feedback
4. Engaging with us as a Worker for short-term engagements as they arise
5. Working through a contract for service and paid via PAYE
6. No set amount of work or expenses coverage
7. Insurance covers your work with us
8. This is not a self-employed position

Minimum requirements:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (assistance available if needed)
* Two professional references
* Right to work in the UK
