Our Homelessness Services works to break the cycle of homelessness through a range of tailored support to individuals and families - through Lifehouses, NAP pads, Housing First, practical support to rough sleepers, floating support and outreach services, and addiction services.
We are looking for a Relief Concierge/Reception (Days and Nights) to join our teams across our Belfast Homelessness Services.
We are looking for individuals who are trauma informed and highly motivated. You will work with The Programme Team to provide a range of activities to empower individuals to move on to independent living and complete day to day activities to support the successful operations of the Centre
Key responsibilities
* Provide front of house services to clients, ensuring they are signed in or out and ensuring their queries are handled in a professional manner, referring them to support staff where required.
* Manage additional front of house duties with Good Verbal and written communication skills Including, telephone calls and external visitors to the centre; accurately recording messages, conducting follow up telephone calls, update logbooks and handover reports etc where appropriate; carry out administration regarding internal and external post, sorting and issuing to clients and staff as required; maintaining a clean working environment.
* Updating data on internal systems for clients; complete entry and exit information for residents and helping with data entry and statistical gathering for Housing Management purposes; receive and record client rent payments accurately using electronic systems.
The successful applicant
* You will have a strong proven record of possessing both organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Maintaining a friendly and approachable manner, you will be able to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload and operate Microsoft office utilities with efficiency.
* You will preferably come from a background where client privacy and confidentiality are maintained and be aware of the requirements of the DPA 2018 when processing client data
* You will be available to work weekends and bank holidays when required.
