With increasing workloads and continued growth forecast across Somerset, Dorset and Hampshire, we require an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Yeovil management Team. The successful candidate needs to be a team player, understand current processes and bring new ideas to add and assist on our continued success and development.
Competitive salary offered along with company vehicle.
About the Role:
* Responsibility for contracts managing on projects from 5K – 600K
* Experience in pricing and producing quotes / tenders
* Close liaison with the clients and customers
* Adhering to and implementing site Health and Safety
* Writing and checking method statements and risk assessments
* Direct and sub-contractor management and resourcing
* Producing contract RAMs and CPPs as required
About the Candidate:
* Experience in planned, refurbishment and development type contracts
* Must have excellent construction knowledge
* Must be self-motivated as well as a motivator
* Must have SMSTS, first aid and CSCS card
* Competent in risk assessments and method statements
* Compliant in H+S procedures and CDM
* Excellant communicator
* Excellent rates of pay
* Monday to Friday working pattern
* 28 days holiday (includes bank and public holidays)
* Annual Christmas shutdown
