Tradewind Recruitment are partnering with a highly regarded two-form entry primary school in Borehamwood to recruit an experienced Nursery Teacher for September.
This role is specifically suited to a confident Early Years specialist who has experience leading or running a Nursery provision and is looking for a well-supported, part-time role with genuine work-life balance.
The Position
* Lead a well-established Nursery class of 20 children
* Work 5 mornings per week (08:30 - 12:30)
* Supported by 2 experienced TAs
* 45 minutes daily PPA (from 11:45 when children finish)
* Paid handover in July to ensure a seamless start

* 2FE structure - shared planning, reduced workload
* Experienced Early Years team with established systems and routines
* Supportive leadership who prioritise staff wellbeing and manageable workload
* Strong behaviour culture and effective SEN support

The right candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience in Early Years, ideally leading Nursery or similar provision
* Deep understanding of EYFS and early child development
* Confident leading a team and driving high-quality provision
* Organised, proactive and passionate about Early Years education
