We are seeking a world‑class professional for a Global Account Manager role to work with a FS customer headquartered in London. This person will help the customer use cloud and AI technologies to accelerate hyper‑growth by modernizing and building new innovative businesses on AWS. The role requires a senior professional with experience leading highly effective teams and background in banking, finance, or related ecosystems. You will be a hands‑on change leader, driving new business and operational excellence, and collaborate across multiple functions as the owner of the AWS relationship with the global customer—including Sales, Technical Account Management, Business Development, Solution Architecture, Customer Solutions Management, Partner Sales, and Marketing.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Engage with the customer at all levels—from CEO to working staff to deliver operational excellence.
* Ensure sustained customer value realization from current AWS business.
* Develop a long‑term account plan to deliver incremental sales revenue targets.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience in technology‑related sales, business development, sales engineering, or consulting.
* Experience with financial services, payments, or e‑commerce.
* Bachelor’s degree, or a PhD and/or experience conducting research and business on a global scale.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in cloud or account management, with a proven track record of managing high‑performing teams and projects.
* Ability to think and act independently within a fast‑paced, multi‑task driven environment.
* Knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing; ability to identify opportunities for customers.
* Track record of managing time efficiently, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams.
