Its mission is to redesign processes, reduce manual effort, cost, and risk, and enhance scalability and client experience. The team works flexibly across business and technology, selecting the best tools and approaches for each challenge, and delivering through agile, outcome‑focused methods. The team prioritises pace, iteration, and continuous improvement. This enables cross‑boundary delivery while maintaining close alignment with Technology and the wider business. The team leads critical initiatives including Fund Events transformation, end‑to‑end journey redesign, Generative AI industrialisation, ActiveOps deployment and EUC risk reduction. Purpose of your role The Operating Model & Transformation Lead enhances the effectiveness and impact of the ISS Automation team by applying deep expertise in Agile delivery, operating model design, and enterprise transformation. The role identifies and shapes new transformation opportunities, strengthens operating model alignment across initiatives, and accelerates delivery through modern ways of working. Acting as both a strategist and hands‑on transformation leader, the role ensures measurable value, improved flow, and consistent adoption of agile practices across ISS. Key Responsibilities Enable and Enhance ISS Automation’s Strategic Agenda Ensure initiatives align to a scalable operating model and agile delivery approach while proactively identifying future transformation opportunities. Transformation Opportunity Identification & Planning Conduct diagnostics and develop prioritised business cases to shape a high‑value, insight‑driven transformation pipeline. Lead Strategic Transformation Delivery Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver core ISS Automation initiatives end‑to‑end, ensuring measurable value and effective stakeholder coordination. Operating Model Design & Implementation Define future‑state operating models and translate them into actionable roadmaps for adoption across business and technology. Agile Ways of Working & Domain Model Support Strengthen agile practices and support the Domain Model implementation by improving ways of working, prioritisation, flow, and iterative delivery. Cross ‑ Functional Collaboration Act as a connector across ISS, Technology, and Operations to drive aligned decision‑making and unblock progress. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Embed modern transformation practices and promote iterative, data‑driven improvement across initiatives. Senior Stakeholder Engagement Influence senior leaders through clear, structured insights and recommendations to secure sponsorship and ensure successful delivery. Capability Building & Team Leadership Build capability by coaching teams on agile and operating model principles, while managing team members, budgets, and training requirements. Experience and Qualifications Required Significant experience in operating model design, enterprise transformation, or strategic change in complex or global environments. Demonstrated expertise in agile delivery and embedding modern ways of working. Strong background in process re‑engineering, automation, or digital transformation. Proven ability to identify and shape transformation opportunities and deliver measurable outcomes. Experience working across business and technology domains to optimise end‑to‑end journeys. Consulting‑grade problem solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
