Residential Children's Support Worker Temp to perm £13 - £14 per hour Long days and sleep in's Full time Surrey based Job role As a Residential Children's Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated care team providing 24/7 support to young people living in the home. You will work directly with young people aged up to 18 who may present with emotional, behavioural, and social difficulties, often as a result of past trauma or adverse childhood experiences. Your role is to build trusting, professional relationships with each young person, contribute to their Care Plans and Risk Assessments, and provide consistent emotional and practical support. This includes helping them develop life skills, attend education or training, and manage their behaviour in line with therapeutic approaches used in the home. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe, structured, and homely environment, supporting each young person's progress toward greater independence and emotional resilience.
