We are looking for an experienced Engineer to work as a member of the Mitie Fire & Security Systems Operations Field service team. You'll ensure effective delivery of PPM, Reactive calls and additional Small Works, ensuring compliance with all Legal and Regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs, and installation of Fire alarms, CCTV, Access control and Intruder alarm/associated equipment and products to the relevant legislative and qualitative standards, alongside appropriate documentation and records in a timely and appropriate manner.
* Work to high levels of Health and Safety requirements.
* Carry out PPM, reactive calls and Small Works in the Fire & Security Systems industry, including service test and inspection to relevant standards/codes and fault-finding techniques.
* Attend and participate in company-initiated training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical aspects of the role.
* Desirable experience: PPM, Accident Reporting, or RAMS, and following Health and Safety Legislation, preferably in the engineering field.
* Share technical and problem-solving abilities with colleagues and work with initiative with minimal supervision.
