Job Overview
We're looking for a Customer Experience Officer to join our North Northamptonshire Council team based in Wellingborough. You'll serve as the vital connection between Kier Transportation, our clients, and the communities we serve, supporting the delivery of essential highways services for North Northamptonshire Council.

Location
Wellingborough – travel to the office required. Some remote working available.
Hours & Salary
Permanent Fulltime. 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility. Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per year, plus excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
As a Customer Experience Officer, you will work within the teams at Wellingborough depot to:
* Respond to customer enquiries and complaints accurately and promptly, ensuring a positive experience.
* Analyse customer feedback and share insights with teams to drive continuous improvement.
* Support social media engagement and coordinate events and consultations.
* Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and operational teams.
* Monitor performance against KPIs and champion customer satisfaction across all activities.
Qualifications
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with a wide range of customers and stakeholders.
* Customer‑focused approach, strong organisation skills, and enthusiasm for solving problems.
* Ability to build positive and effective working relationships, both internally and externally.
* Confidence using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel and Outlook, with a good eye for maintaining accurate records.
* Full driving licence.
