 is looking for a creative and innovative KS1 teacher who is willing to embrace the use of technology in the classroom to enhance learning. This position would be a January 2026 start.
We need someone who is open to new ideas and willing to support to transform the standardised model of direct learning to a model which allows for improved interactions and strengthened relationships that provide our children with opportunities for self-directed learning.
We aim to nurture a community of learners who challenge thinking, where our staff are empowered to take risks and develop their practice to meet the needs of an evolving school system, which is not held back by traditional restrictions and ideologies,
We want teachers who:
 1. Recognise that our current education system needs to radically change to better prepare our young people for the 21st century
 2. Want to move away from passive forms of learning and move towards interactive teaching methods that promote critical and individual thinking
 3. Will take advantage of the latest technology to deliver personalised learning that is accessible for all children, irrespective of their language skills, reading ability or any other factors that may present learning challenges
 4. Want to work with other staff as a community of learners that challenge traditional thinking
 5. Want to develop their own practice to meet the needs of an evolving school system
 6. Want to develop children as life-long, curious learners
 7. Want to build strong relationships with children that facilitate their learning
 8. Want to teach in enabling environments that promote flexibility, collaboration and independence

 9. An additional day’s paid leave per academic year after the completion of two years’ continuous service
 10. Staff not expected to respond to e-mails after 6.00pm or at weekends

 13. Emphasis on ‘live marking’ and using TAs to lessen the volume of marking outside of lessons
