CBW is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a modern and highly technical facility. This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary, benefits, and company car. The site includes a mix of specialist operational areas such as controlled environments, laboratories, plant rooms, and commercial office space. As the on-site lead, you will ensure all maintenance and compliance standards are met while supporting a critical operation with minimal downtime. Hours for work:Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 17:00pmParticipation in the on-call rota is required 1 in 4 Package:£55,000 per annumCompany Car24 days holidayLifer Cover equivalent to 1.5 times annual salaryGym Membership discountHoliday purchase scheme2 Corporate social responsibility days per yearKey duties & responsibilities:Serve as the primary on-site contact for all client liaison, ensuring a professional and responsive service is consistently deliveredOversee the completion of all planned preventative maintenance PPM activities in line with schedules and compliance standardsCoordinate and close out actions from audits, client meetings, and site inspections in a timely mannerCompile and submit monthly performance reports and updates as requiredReview and sign off all job sheets for clarity, accuracy, and any necessary remedial actionsEnsure accurate, real-time logging of all work activities using handheld PDAs and site CAFM systemsProvide detailed documentation of works carried out, raising any follow-up tasks where neededRespond to all reactive and emergency call-outs efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to site operationsDiagnose plant faults and breakdowns, raise quotations for repairs, and liaise with management for approvalEnsure all plant and building services are maintained in safe, efficient working orderUndertake electrical inspection and testing duties in line with regulations and best practicesConduct routine site audits and ensure full statutory compliance is maintained across all building systemsSupervise and coordinate all on-site contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with site rules and safety proceduresDeliver regular toolbox talks, safety briefings, and promote best practice in health and safety across the siteRequirements:Recognised Electrical qualification City & Guilds or equivalent in a relevant engineering disciplineC&G 2391 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Inspection and Testing18th Edition BS7671 certification essentialStrong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsA mechanical qualification or understanding of mechanical systems is advantageousProven experience leading or supervising an engineering teamPrevious exposure to controlled, process, or pharmaceutical environments desirableSolid background in building services and M&E maintenance operationsPlease send your CV to Katie at CBW Staffing Solutions for more information.
