As the Executive Head Housekeeper you will be responsible for setting, monitoring and maintaining the highest level of housekeeping and guest service standards. Your attention to detail will ensure that our guests enjoy meticulously clean rooms and memorable moments throughout their stay. You will monitor and control equipment and linen to ensure suitable stocks are maintained and costs are controlled.
With two Assistant Managers, eight Supervisors and a large team of Housekeeping Assistants, Linen Porters and Public Area cleaners, you will lead by example, fostering a culture of warmth where colleagues feel appreciated. By building genuine relationships with your team, you will create a sense of belonging, empowering them to take pride in their work.
In addition you will act at Duty Manager as and when required.
Responsibilities
* Set, monitor and maintain the highest level of housekeeping and guest service standards.
* Monitor and control equipment and linen to ensure stocks are maintained and costs are controlled.
* Lead a large team of Housekeeping Assistants, Linen Porters and Public Area cleaners, fostering a culture of warmth and belonging and empowering colleagues to take pride in their work.
* Act as Duty Manager when required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience, ideally in a similar property and role.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of colleagues to deliver a consistent level of service.
* You are well organised with good time management skills, prioritising tasks, managing work schedules and rotas to meet operational demands.
* You are IT literate – previous experience of using Opera or Fourth hospitality would be advantageous although not essential.
