We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Site Foreman to take the lead on day-to-day site operations across a range of construction and civil engineering projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in plant operation, groundworks, and team leadership to step into a key supervisory role. The role of Site Foreman includes:- Oversee and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Supervise a small team of operatives including plant drivers, groundworkers, and labourers. Operate machinery when required, including 360 excavators and other plant equipment. Liaise with management, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and site progress. Monitor and enforce health and safety compliance on-site. Assist with planning work schedules, material deliveries, and equipment use. Carry out basic plant checks and support with minor on-site repairs or breakdown response. To be considered for the role of Site Foreman, you should have:- Previous experience as a Site Foreman, Supervisor, or Senior Operative. Strong knowledge of groundworks, plant operation, and site safety procedures. CPCS or NPORS for 360 Excavator and/or other plant machinery (preferred). Ability to lead by example with a practical, proactive, and safety-first approach. Good communication and organisational skills. Full UK driving licence (essential).
