Job Description
Based in Stirling our growing client requires a Production Team Leader/ Supervisor to assist the Production Manager with improving production processes and procedures and managing a team of production staff within the manufacturing facility. This position has come about due to growth within the site. This role is on shift.
The Candidate:
* Previous experience in a production/area team lead/supervisor role within the manufacturing industry is a must
* Experience of delivering on KPI's
* High level of professional/specialist technical knowledge in manufacturing
* Successful application of continuous improvement techniques (ie Lean projects)
The role:
* Manage the efficient running of your designated area over an entire shift.
* Assist in implementing plans as agreed with the Production Manager and review to support continuous and sustained improvements in business performance.
* Ensure systems and controls are in place to meet customer codes of practice
* Liaise with Planning, Engineering and other functions as appropriate to ensure budgeted standards
